Mr. Stevenson...
Thank you the website. Eliza Goult Spooner was my mother's Godmother. She married Herbert Richard Spooner June Qrter 1915, Chesterfield Reg. District.... I presume Killamarsh. She died 29 aug 1975 in Killamarsh,Derbyshire. She is buried in the St. Giles graveyard. I found her in the St.Giles MI's.
Mrs. Spooner lived next to my grandparents on High Street in Killamarsh. I met her, I believe in the early 60's, as a child, when I visited my grandmother. My mother was Nora Lacey Hatton.
Obviously, she had a spiritual relationship with my mother and my grandmother and for that I honor her and continue the faith she passed on to me through my mother..
Sincerely,
Karen Kopec
